Coastal and Somerset-St. James Table Lodge For the past several years in late June or early July Coastal Lodge and Somerset-St James Lodge have hosted a joint Table Lodge and pig roast at Coastal Lodge. This event is untiled so that non-mason male guests may attend and meet members of the fraternity. It has proven to be a big success. The event was June 28th and held indoors instead of under a tent. Many brothers had expressed concern about the mosquito population at past events. It was a great time with good food and fine fellowship. If you would like to see pictures taken from that event on the Internet go to http://www.visualtour.com/shownp.asp?T=1588644. For those of you who have not attended in the past perhaps next year you can give it a try. |

Welcome to Our Newest Brothers
Somerset-St. James Lodge had the privilege of raising 10 new Master Masons in the first half of this year.
On March 4th, the Master Mason degree was conferred, and Brothers Alexander Clark, Chad Williams, Brian Bates, Benjamin Simon, and Brent Stone were raised. On March 18th, Brothers Adam Hall, John Stogdon, and Leroy McCaskill were also raised. And on June 3rd, Brothers Eric Kennerly and Michael Coburn were raised.
These new Brothers in the course of receiving the three degrees of Masonry had the privilege of having the Entered Apprentice Degree portrayed by the New London Sojourners Degree Team on January 7th, and the Fellow Craft Degree portrayed on February 4th, by the Sub Base Degree Team. Additionally, on May 6th, the Fellow Craft Degree was portrayed by the Senior Wardens of the 8th district on Senior Warden’s Night. Every lodge in the district was represented by a Senior Warden for this very popular and well received event.
Congratulations to our new Brothers. Welcome to the oldest and greatest fraternity in the world!!
